A set of wooden docks where fishing and commercial vessels dock and ship out. The Harbormaster Willem is the man you need to ask if you wish to charter a boat to Herensuge, or to take up fishing jobs with either the whalers or deepsea fishermen.

Gran Perros Port Empty
PostSubject: Re: Gran Perros Port   Gran Perros Port EmptyFri Sep 25, 2015 6:20 pm

From the rolling waves of the Settozai Ocean, a frail vessel charges forth upon shore. Carried by the winds by it's tattered jury-rigged sail, an outrigger canoe of poor construction and fortitude makes it's way into Gran Perros Port. A strange bird that looked like a cross of a falcon with a phoenix approached the deck and perched upon one of the rigging poles, screeching at any of the deck hands or deck service persons on duty. In the bright sunlight, one could just make out the pale form that was laid back upon the hallowed insides of the canoe and her almost angelic features. Titania Evergreen yawns, stretching her arms out wide before gently replacing them at her sides once more. She grinned upon the sight of Gran Perros, but had no recollections of ever travelling here in her life time. "Seems I have found paradise after all. How dreadful it would have been if I had sailed directly to Herensuge instead!" She thought.

As the ramshackle vessel approached the deck, Titania slowly stood up, her foreign looking clothes both glistening in the sunlight, her robes billowing and flowing in the sea's windy air. The tabard section of her robes pressed against her left leg, her sode and haidate with their shiny golden coloured scales grabbing the attention of workers and deckhands alike; though it certainly wasn't her armour that turned their heads. When her canoe came to a rest at the dock, her rather large breasts bobbed as she elegantly pulled her self from the hold of the canoe onto the wooden planks of the modest set of docks. Her revealing foreign clothing, the incredibly large bow that was nearly as tall as her on her back, her exotic pet which now perched itself upon her right shoulder, and the fact she was an Elf that was towering over six feet in height without the aid of her heels which made her look that much more taller when she slipped them on. Her outward pointing ears twitched and she could hear the gossip and murmurs of those in her presence already. Smiling at the attention, she places her left hand upon her hip and raises her free hand to stroke Faroake's feathery chin. "So, this is Gran Perros, 'The Largest of the Five Villages', huh?" she spoke to her pet, her model like features grinning while her bird cooed. She turned to face what looked like the Harbour Master's shack, but instead of heading towards it, she began walking towards the inland of the village itself. "Come now, Faroake, let us discover what wonders await us here in this village town of 'Gran Perros'." she declared, to which her bird only screeched in agreement.

A short portly man with small circle glasses is flipping through the log book of Gran Perros visitors and watches as the Elven woman passes by, ignorant of the signs that dictate to newcomers coming by way of their own vessels to register with the Harbor Master. The nerve of that girl!

"Hey! You! Elf!" Willem exclaims, closing his harbor book and stepped down from his elevated seat, his stubby legs taking him a moment to get to the plank flooring. He folds the counter up and walks onto the deck, registry book, wallet, and ink quell in hand. "Halt you strange elf! I say halt!" he continued, the halfling little man of all of 4' exclaims as he approaches the elven woman (Titania Evergreen). He puffs out his chest and adjusts his spectacles with his free hand; the ledger, pen and wallet tucked between his left elbow and side. "Yes, I'm talking to you, tall blonde and stacked;" he rudely decrees, his puffed red cheeks and his long nose made him look like a small goblin if there ever was one as fair colored as he. His grey hair was long and pulled back into a low ponytail. His clothes were of navy blue nickers, leather shoes, an elaborately decorated shirt with a sash tied around his waist and a short jacket that resembled a tail coat. As stated before, he was portly and well rounded; a fat little man.

"We have rules around here," he continued, clearing his throat. "Unless my eyes deceived me, you didn't just ''fall from the sky''," he then points to the outrigger canoe. "I believe that is your vessel, and you not only did not tie it down onto the dock you entered a dock meant for private parties and persons who can afford such!" he exclaimed.

He shook his head. "Haven't you traveled in Droxis waters before? When you dock your privately owned ship at port in any of our fine cities, it is explicitly expected of you to visit the Harbor Master of that town, and register you name and vessel in the Port Ledger!" he screamed, his jowls shaking with spittle as he got worked up. "You are to also pay a minimum of 50 Talis for docking said ship! Unless you own one of these docks, if you use any of them otherwise it is the same as renting them!" He shook the ledger up at her, not at all intimidated by her size nor looks. "If you don't I'm afraid I'll have to report you to the local authorities!" he waved the ledger again, furious and disgruntled. "Do I make myself clear?" he finished, his hands at his hips, and chest raised defiantly at her.

Faroake screeched in fury, his feathers lighting up as if set ablaze, his large wings beating the air as he hovered above Titania's shoulder. The Elf hardly took notice of the little man before he stood before her. Her pale lavender blue eyes glanced down from behind a lidded gaze, her red eye shadow accentuated her long beautiful eyelashes and she charmingly grinned down at the creature before her. "Oh? I was not aware of such regulations! You'll have to excuse my partner and I, we have travelled from a fair distance. As you can also tell," she pauses, pointing the half sinking ship that was being kicked back towards the open ocean, looking as though after it had served its purpose it was now free to end it's own decrepit existence. "-there is no ship, let alone one docked illegally~" she continued and glanced back to the halfling with a grin. "Its hardly a vessel to begin with, hardly sea worthy and look now as it scuttles itself amongst the cove." she says this and looks up, allowing her long platinum blond hair to freely flow in the sea's windy air. "How could I have sailed on something which does not exist?" she says this just as the floating junk slammed into a reef, capsizing and then breaking apart before either sinking or scattering as worthless flotsam amid the torrent of waves.

She grinned. "How about I strike you an offer, an offer worth 80 Talis?" she cooed, folding her arms under her massive breasts.

Willem did not like this wench. He could sense her cunning and deceit under her bountiful layers of 'charm'. However, he was a business man first and foremost. "You come to my port, nonchalantly striding on by without any intention of paying for the Dock's Rent fees, and you want to strike me an offer? Hm... sounds quite suspicious to me. What sort of trouble are you in, Ms. 'High-and-Mighty' Elf? And keep your bird at bay or I'll see to it that the authorities do something about that as well!" he exclaimed folding his arms now swaying in his shoes as he stood there. Foreigners... how he despised them. No sense of law or order these lot. It made him sick sometimes. However, they did have their uses, these Foreign travelers, and he was not prejudice when it came to certain investments, as long as it was worth his time, money or standing as an official. Townspeople don't want to risk their standing, but to a Foreign force, nothing binds them to where they visit. On the plus side, they were expendable. However, what struck him mildly amused was that apparently this woman believed she could make him do something for her, than the other way around.

"Well? What is it?" he asks after a few moments of reflection.

PostSubject: Re: Gran Perros Port   Gran Perros Port EmptyFri Sep 25, 2015 9:58 pm

She smiled. "Thinking ahead of yourself, little man?" she started, giggling despite herself. "Faroake doesn't attack unless I tell him to. Don't be so uptight." she chuckled before narrowing her eyes and her pleasant smile went a shade darker. "Oh, I'm not in trouble, per say. However, this doesn't mean I won't be in the distant future." she says, kneeling to his level, her breasts between her left knee, her left hand contained her small pouch filled with Talis. "Eighty Talis, 50 for our 'generous meeting', and 30 to 'skip' the registration, keeping this strictly off the books of course." she proposed, rattling out about 80 worth of Talis into her free open palm. "You can, 'forget' an Elf and her Bird companion, can you? I mean, she simply 'fell from the sky', after all, hmm?" she says in a charming tone, and wide grin.

"85, and some information on what has been swimming in the southern Settozai ocean. This information is legit and I have proof of the claim. Though if you're unsure, I'm planning to stay in town for a few nights, you can have one of your 'underlings' check it out in the meantime, and if it comes false I'll pay you 150 Talis. Surely, this is a better deal than 95." she smirked, sliding another 5 Talis from her purse into her open palm. "Well?" she asked. "It's not like I can leave without you knowing. After all, I tend to 'stick out'. So, Harbor Master, what will it be? Deal?" she asked.

Willem frowned, and tapped his foot. "Hm... Show me this proof, and tell me what 'info' your willing to sell; and sure if you're claim appears false, then you WILL pay me 150 Talis for the misinformation, but not only that..." he smirked, an impish grin. "If your claim is false, you'll pay 150 and will have to work five of my enterprises without payment. Not only that, till I can verify the truth of your claim, you will be a prisoner of this Village. You see, I have a powerful hold in this village, I know people. They will be watching you, making sure you don't run off into the night. Doing such things will simply be like digging yourself in your own grave." he then licked his upper lip. "That is my agreement, depending if what you say is truly worth the effort to begin with." he says smiling a toothy goblin-like grin.

He raised a brow, and leaned back, clearing his throat. "I could say that I 'imagined' and Elf and her Avian companion; but only for 100 Talis. 50 for the dock rent, and 50 for our 'generous meeting'." he says firmly, lowering his head with a greedy smile.

She grinned. "But doesn't 80 sound better?" She chuckled. "I mean, I haven't done wrong on you, for my charming personality you would allow 80, wouldn't you?"

"Personality?" He chuckled. "95 at best. I'll go no lower, you're charming, but your not that charming." he smirked.

She kept her smile, and slowly nodded. "Fine. Faroke, fetch it for us, would you my dear?" she soothingly asked her pet. The hybrid bird screeched and took flight, flying over to the wreckage of the outrigger canoe and dove beneath the waves. After a few moments, the bird surfaced, flapping it's wings with fire. In it's large talons was an ivory steak like tooth which it flew over to Titania and dropped between the Elf and the Halfling before them. The deck rattled with it's weight. A freshly removed tooth, of a very large animal!

"In the southern Settozai oceans, a boat ran aground on a rocky outcrop sticking out of the ocean. It's passengers, crew- they must be gone now. Likely eaten by the owner of this tooth, a Cetacean; a Crimson Whale." she continued after a pause, tracing the outline of the tooth with her free hand. "I witnessed the thing hit the vessel, bite a chunk from it. That is how I came across this otherwise valuable tooth. I was going to sell it anyway, but I figure if someone finds that crimson menace," she looked up at the Harbor Master and smiled. "They'd be pretty rich once they've captured the beast. A tooth of this size, you know it's going to be big. The bigger they are, the more money you make!" she finishes with a wink and then handed over her 85 Talis. "So, there you go. 85."

Willem stroked his chin, looking from the tooth to the woman's outstretched hand. After careful deliberation he nodded softly. "Very well, 85 indeed, Ms. Elf." he takes her 85 and checks it so he wouldn't be dooped. It looked and felt legit, so he pockets the Talis and nods towards the street. "Welcome to Gran Perros, Lass, I'm sure in the coming days you'll find it's modest hospitality...delightful." he grinned and then walked back to his shack, and sit behind the counter in the shade once more. He waved two deck hands to take the massive tooth and left the Elf to her own devices for the time being. He'd get in touch with Mr. Silver's goons for hire later, to keep a close eye on her. In the mean time, he'd use his own group of goons. Not as well equipped as Silver, but they did the job nicely when it came to those who went back on their word. Though, if what she says is true or not, he may yet say she lied to get five jobs out of her for free. He smirked and chuckled darkly as he piled the Talis into his safe.

Gran Perros Port Empty
PostSubject: Re: Gran Perros Port   Gran Perros Port EmptyFri Sep 25, 2015 11:16 pm

Titania stood up, the wind blowing through her hair and Faroake settling upon her shoulder once more as the two burly men carry off with the tooth she could have cared less about. On the topic if she was speaking the truth or not, she wouldn't further elaborate. Circumstances dictate it was in realm of possibility with her sailing in on an otherwise island hopping vessel. But she did leave the tooth to sink to the bottom without a care despite her mentioning of profit. Either way, she wasn't going to stick around that long to find out if she was going to be the midget's slave for five jobs. Knowing that shady goblin of a man, he'd send her to take on the jobs no one else would take out of fear of the low health and stamina. She wasn't going to be no puppet either. She had friends in high places of her own, not here in particular, but she could have them in this region in two days time, persisting.

She kept her cool and her grin, allowing the little man believe in his success. She continued forth into the village, deciding it would be best to check out the Information on the Billboard she could see at the edge of this deck. She was up to making a little money on the side, and since she's never visited this area before it wouldn't hurt finding out the local hotspots.

She left the dock, and headed into the Information Square.
