Beastiary: DD: Adamantite Prison

This is a collection of monsters, and random enemy spawns you may encounter in the asylum that is the Adamantite Prison.

This can be helpful if your by yourself and want something to kill. Also used in development of stories, random encounters may occur.

Name: Grindylow
Difficulty: Novice
Language: Aquan
Treasure on Death: Spear, 10 Red Talis, +100 SP Potion, ring of HP (+100)

Description: An aquatic goblin. Small creature (under 4ft) with a large head and numerous teeth, this unsightly creature resembles a goblin from the waist up and a greasy octopus below.



Stats:
Common location: Settozai Ocean at depths deeper than 10 feet

Organization: Attacks in a gang (3–9)

Special Abilities:

Tangling Tentacles: Although a grindylow can’t attack to cause damage with its six tentacles, these wriggling legs constantly writhe and reach out to tug at and trip adjacent foes. During the grindylow’s turn, it can make a single trip attack against any adjacent foe as a free action.

Rare Treasure: Split-jaw Shotgun



Description: A humanoid that serves under the Droxis Democracy. Armed in Blue military clothes, badge and slightly more protective clothing than the average grunt. Unlike the Grunt, they carry less ranged weapons, and only on rare occasions will they use a Split-Jaw Shotgun. They are the guards and patrol officer's of Herensuge and help guard the prisoners at Adamantite Prison.

Organization: Commonly pairs of 2, in some areas grouped in a four man team, and rarely encountered in a group of 6

Melee: Prod Strike (-270 HP), Electric Prod (-270 HP)
Ranged: DD Service Pistol (-270 HP)
Rare Range: Split-Jaw shotgun (-270 HP)

Special Abilities:
Alert!: Blows silver whistle, alerting any other mobs in the area to the battle's location.

Military Back Up Requested: If they are not defeated or if their radio isn't destroyed or taken away, they can call in back up and within three posts three DD Grunts will be summoned into the field.

Electric Strike: MP's carry a retractable night-stick made entirely of metal. Also since they are trained in Magic use, they will magically electrify the prod before they strike. Prod remains electrical for three posts after first activation.

Restrain Suspect: Will lung onto targeted character and will handcuff them. Players who are handcuffed must improvise from there.

Description: A spider the size of a man crawls silently from the depths of its funnel-shaped web.

Description: A group of spiders smaller than an average human's thumb that crawl in their black and brown forms from cracks in walls, webs, or other places they may fit.
